Gran Recapte d'Aliments 2014: Meat and mushrooms risotto

As it is usual since some years ago, unfortunatelly, the Banc d'Aliments (Food Bank) organizes in november the Gran Recapte d'Aliments (Big Supply of Food), an action which goal is to get food to supply food to people who is in a bad situation and do not have to buy food. 




In addition to the food collection, a group of gastrobloggers everytime bigger make an action called "Blogs contra la Fam" (Blogs againts Hunger), wich consist in publishing a recipe to give ideas of cooking with the products that, normally, are in the Basic Basket of people who receive food.

From "Beatus Ille", this year, we propose a "Meat and mushrooms risotto".

To prepare it, it starts frying a medium spring onion and a little green pepper cut little in a bit of oil. When they are fried, add a garlic clove cut tiny, one soup-spoon of parsley and 100 gr of grinded meat. Later, add half tea-spoon of paprika and two glasses of rice. Move. Add half a glass of white wine. When it is reduced, add a handful of mushrooms, some sweetpeas and add a little bit of water. Add water little by little. Control the level of salt. When rice is cooked, add a soup-spoon of butter and three soup-spoons of grated Parmiggiano cheese.
